A lovely hike in the Swellendam mountains. Our favourite trail is called ‘Duiwelsbos’ which goes all the way to the waterfall.
Lovely nature reserve and beach, about an hour and 20min away. A must in whale season!
Don’t miss the The Fig Tree Restaurant or Bites Café for lunch.
There is no convenience store enroute to De Hoop, so be sure to have some snacks for the kids.
You do have to drive on a gravel/dirt road to get there, so please be cautious!
