Very nice tour of the HL Hunley Confederate submarine finally found in the Cooper River in 1999. They laid the 8 crewmembers to rest in 2004 here in Charleston with a spectacular 4.5 mile funeral event.

Entertainment
Concerts, live local bands and volleyball on the Isle of Palms beach. This is where Hootie and the Blowfish started from! Darius Rucker, their lead singer is a local and is still doing performances and collecting school supplies for our community.

This park is located on our old Naval Base and is waterfront history, peaceful, a fountain, and modern scrap metal art that is amazing. Enjoy a stroll, a picnic, fishing off the piers and/or grabbing a meal on one of our East Montague Avenue Park Circle area restaurants. They also have live events on the waterfront stage like the Riverfront Revival featuring Darius Rucker and a 2 day lineup of Country Music Artists and the best local food trucks starting October 8 12pm-October 9 untill closing!
