It is very interesting from the architectural point of view since we have contemporary museum from Siza Vieira (1990's) and the Serralves Villa (1920's) that offers a chance to take a trip back in time: to this unique example of Art Deco architecture. Authorship of the Villa’s architectural project may be attributed to the French architect, Charles Siclis, and also involved Marques da Silva, a famous architect working in Oporto at that time.

The Romantic Gardens of Palácio de Cristal occupy an area of 8 hectares in Porto's centre. We can contemplate magnificent panoramic views over the river and the city that the viewpoints in strategic places offer to us.

With this path You can see some stores in Cedofeita pedestrian street, some art galleries at Miguel Bombarda and even visit Museu Soares dos Reis at R. D. Manuel II. It was designed by the landscape architect Sidónio Pardal and inaugurated in 1993 (1st phase) and finalized in 2002. The presence of stone takes on a preponderant characteristic of this park, where the construction of supporting walls for terrain, spots to stay and paving create a rural and bucolic idea. In 2000, it was selected by the Order of the Engineers as one of the `100 most remarkable works constructed in Portugal in the 20th century`. Among other installations, it lodges the Centre for Environmental Education.
The EDP Marathon in Porto, with its 18th anniversary, starts its publicity campaign, with a view to the 19th. Edition, in 2023 to November 5, starting at 8:00 am, and as in the past, we intend to make this EDP Porto Marathon an event of national and international reference.

This is a walking promenade we propose that will take You through most typical touristic sites and down to the River Douro banks. Douro river separates Porto from Gaia. In Gaia caves is accomplished the final stage for the famous Port wine ageing before coming to market. We prepared a detailed description of the route to take from home to the cellars in Gaia having in mind the visit of other sites as You walk through.

This is a walking promenade we propose that will take You through most typical touristic sites and down to the River Douro banks. Douro river separates Porto from Gaia. In Gaia caves is accomplished the final stage for the famous Port wine ageing before coming to market. We prepared a detailed description of the route to take from home to the cellars in Gaia having in mind the visit of other sites as You walk through.

Avenida do Brasil is located by the sea side of Porto. If You need some freshness in the hot summer days, here You will be able to feel the sea breeze and enjoy the beach. There are very nice esplanades where You can have a meal or only a refreshment by the sea front. I personally prefer the one located by statue of the steersman (Homem do Leme). There is a curious tradition in Porto: the night before getting married the groom should comes for an advice from the statue. You can take the old tram n.18 fro Carmo and then change to nr.1 or riverside line, until the garden of Passeio Alegre on a single path along the banks of the River Douro. Then a small walk to seaside.
