Carroll Mansion
This 1880's Victorian house features elaborate handcrafted woodwork throughout the house, beautiful stained glass windows and elegant antiques from the Victorian era to the early 20th century. The Mansion is also a research center for early Kansas history to include 30,000 glass plate negatives taken in the first century of our history by pioneer photographers. The museum is the home to the Leavenworth County Historical Society, formed in the Centennial year of the founding of Leavenworth City. Guided tours are available. House are Tuesday - Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. $6 Admission is charged.

Apple Season at Cider Hill begins in late July and lasts until October. Families come out to the orchard for the day to pick their own apples and enjoy yummy treats like cider donuts, kettle corn, & apple cider slushes.
Take a hayride, relax by the fire pit, shop in our quaint cottage store, watch your kids take a train ride, and enjoy the fresh country air. We are also open at other times of the year for picking other crops such as blackberries, raspberries and cherries.
