Neighborhood meals. Simple fast breakfast. Not an extensive menu. Their bread is really good. Also has a small market but there are several supermarkets 6 buildings down the street.

This is the beach I would recommend from our apartment. It is not as famous as Ipanema or Copacabana but it has a stunning view with Sugar Loaf looming over you and our favorite restaurant Terra Brasílis right next to it. It is not as crowded as the famous beaches too.

This is one of the most famous and picturesque shorelines in Brazil. It is also only a 20 minute walk from our apartment. Recently the beach has been certified safe for swimming after years of being deemed polluted. Definitely try to visit here if you are staying at our apartment.
