Mount edgcombe is 25 minutes away with lovely gardens and views across to Plymouth. There is a segway activity you can book through the grounds. Yiy can incorporate a trip to Plymouth by catching the Cremyll passenger ferry to Plymouth nearby and walk up to the Royal William Yard where you find a number of restaurants in the old naval buildings.

Port Eliot is 4 miles away, situated in the lovely village of St Germans- you may also recognise from the TV series Beyond Paradise, where many of the scenes were filmed. You can also grab a drink and snack from "Martha's Cafe" .... There is a main line train station that you can hop on and head all the way down to Penzance or towards Exeter...park on the street and buy tickets on train (unmanned)

Looe is 4 miles from our site and is a sandy golden beach at the end of the main street. Parking at Millpool with lots of shops/cafes to choose from.

Seaton is 4 miles away from our camp, it has a choice for refreshments including a pub and 2 cafes - able to park close by in council car parks but it does get busy! When tide is out, you can walk to Downderry along the sand.

Looe is 4 miles away, busy cornish village with shops, cafes and restaurants. You can book boat trips/fishing trips from the harbour. Beach activities too . Looe was used to film many of the scenes from Beyond Paradise, including the police station- Looe Guildhall!
