It’s a lovely little hike and you can test your bravery with how close you are willing to get to the falls.
You will need a car to adventure up this FSR but it provides a great view of Golden and you may be in luck to watch a paraglider take off. This is also a fantastic spot for some downhill mountain biking.

A great little frisbee golf course. You can pick up frisbees from higher ground. Make sure to bring your bear spray as we have played with a friendly black bear in the past.

Right behind the Rex plex there is a small pump track. Used by balance bike, peddle bikes, big kids, scooters and skateboards.

Hot day? Head to cedar lake for a paddle or just laze on the beach.

Cold day? Head to Cedar Lake for cross country ski. These trails are t groomed but they are a firm favourite with my husband.

Probably the best coffee in town. The atmosphere isn’t our favourite it’s more simple sleek decor than cosy and homely. The sandwiches are large and delicious though with friendly staff. Great for an early start.

Delicious evening meals. My husband highly recommends the Dragon Boat and my sister in law and her husband recommended the espresso martinis. It’s our go to for a nice meal there are others but the cosy atmosphere and phenomenal food always makes this our first choice.

Large tea selection and fantastic coffee. This new cafe in town is a great addition and the atmosphere is great. If you are a big coffee drinker they do have a loyalty card so number 10 is free.

Glacier Rafting
Fantastic company for a safe rafting experience. Commemorate your adventures with the pictures afterwards. Bonus the meeting point is within walking distance so you can enjoy a beer or 2 afterwards without thinking about whose driving.
