While Barcelo Aruba has some great a la carte restaurant options that are included in the cost. And, if you are looking for a special romantic candlelit dinner on the beach, you just have to ask. But if you want to try some nearby restaurant alternatives, I have included some food and other options that I have experienced over the years. Aruba is known for its great eateries. There is some great local cuisine to enjoy with fusion from different nationalities. For example, cuminda criollo, stoba, galena, carne, cabrito, konkomber, pampona, funchi, or pan bati. There is some Indonesian influence so dishes like bami or nasi goreng served with sate and pinda are popular. Other popular dishes are loempia, pastechi, and keshi yena.
Palm Beach is one of the best beaches in the world. It is a vacationer's dream with soft white sand, gentle surf, and lake-like turquoise water. It is the main departing point for most water activities including sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving off the Antilla shipwreck, tubing, deep-sea fishing, parasailing, windsurfing, and Seaworld Explorer. And the Barcelo Aruba resort is in the center of all the fun and it is only a short walk from your room to the beach!

Palm BeachPalm Beach is one of the best beaches in the world. It is a vacationer's dream with soft white sand, gentle surf, and lake-like turquoise water. It is the main departing point for most water activities including sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving off the Antilla shipwreck, tubing, deep-sea fishing, parasailing, windsurfing, and Seaworld Explorer. And the Barcelo Aruba resort is in the center of all the fun and it is only a short walk from your room to the beach!

It occupies the ground-floor mall of The Cove luxury apartment complex across from the Holiday Inn (north end of the Palm Beach strip). It is across the street from Cheo corner. This is the only Aruba restaurant serving free-range birds on a rotisserie. In addition, there are escargot, frog's legs and French cheeses. While the focus is rotisserie chicken, you may also order rack of lamb and there are great desserts and lattes available. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It is a little more expensive than most restaurants, but that is par for French restaurants.
