Another great coffee shop is Stoked. It's on the waterfront so you can grab a drink to go and sit on the little beach or on a bench overlooking the Columbia River and enjoy the sound of gentle lapping water.

Timberline Lodge is a great place to simply visit for a meal, hot chocolate, or to go skiing. The building is really interesting and it's well worth a visit. You can also just ride the ski lift for some stunning views.
