An 8-minute walk east. Corbin Catering and Foods offers delicious meals like beef Bourguignon, scalloped potatoes and homestyle soups that taste like they came straight out of your mum's kitchen.
There's a "ready-to-grill" section with uncooked AAA eight-ounce steaks, burger patties and chicken skewers that can be paired up with one of the many sides.
We highly recommend Chef Corbin's cheese tea biscuits!

A 20-minute walk eastward along the waterfront trail.
Once a 40-acre Rumph farm, overlooking Scarborough Bluffs, the Rosetta McClain Garden was the property of Rosetta, daughter of Thomas McDonald West, owner and operator of J. & J. Taylor Limited, Toronto Safe Works. Many of the historic landscape improvements enjoyed today were initially undertaken by Rosetta’s husband, Robert Watson McClain, and her brother Joseph McDonald.
After Rosetta McClain’s death in 1940, her husband offered their property to the city of Toronto as parkland in her memory in 1959. Combining land from J.M. and H.T. West properties, and W.N. West holdings, a 23 acre park was created. The Park is maintained by City of Toronto.
Keep an eye out for birds and other wildlife. I've seen a fox twice now!

Construction for a water treatment plant began on the site in 1932 and the building became operational on November 1, 1941.
Despite its age, the plant is still fully functional, providing approximately 30% of Toronto's water supply. The intakes are located over 2.6 kilometres (1.6 mi) from shore in 15 metres (49 ft) of water, running through two pipes under the bed of the lake.

Torisho is headquartered in Osaka, Japan and has opened around 300 stores in the country over the past six years.
Their specialty is karaage, a Japanese style of frying that's often applied to chicken. Similar to the tempura frying process, it creates a product that's very crispy thanks to being coated with flour or starch and lightly fried in oil.
Don't forget the dipping sauces like tonkatsu mayo, hot honey Japanese mustard, hot sauce and sweet chili sauce.
