The train Station is only a 10 minute walk from the apartment. You can be in the city in 35 minutes and trains leave around every 10 to 15 minutes or less.

The Puffing Billy Steam Train Ride is a full n iconic experience not to be missed!
Sit in open cabins and enjoy watching the beautiful Dandenong’s roll by. Wave to the locals as the greet you as you pass their little country towns.
The train ride takes about 40 minutes departing from Lakeside Station, Emerald arriving at Gembrook Station, and 25 minutes on the return trip back to Lakeside Station, Emerald.
Enjoy lunch at one of the lovely cafes bars and restaurants in the pretty town of Gembrook.
