One of the top restaurants in the city, let alone sushi bar. EXTREMELY hard to get reservations, but if you go at an odd hour, or reserve well in advance, you might snag a spot.

Great menu, great in and outdoor seating. Wine is overpriced but you're going for the ambiance. Warning...this is kind of a pick up joint but the ambiance with daily live music is wonderful.

This grocery store has the freshest offerings of produce, butchered meats, seafood, and all kinds of exotic items you probably won't find anywhere else. The wine and beer selection is amazing as well

If you're visiting TX and want to go to a country line-dancing dance hall, this is the one I recommend. It's within walking distance from my house and the crowd is wonderful and diverse.

On the grounds of the Houstonian Resort/Hotel, this spa is the largest in Houston, but quite busy. You'll get a great treatment whether massage, facial, or other. Great facilities.

This spa is fantastic and a bit hidden away so you won't get big crowds. This is a gem I go to when I want a luxury spa experience without the crowds.
