Grab a public bike (check how in my tips for travellers category) and ride through the cycleway straight to Leme (less than 10 min ride). Connected to Copacabana but not as crowded.

They are all over town and it's so nice to just ride through Rio. 3,99 reais for a 15 min ride or 29,99 for the whole month (4 rides per day, 45 minutes each).
