The Kinsol Trestle, also known as the Koksilah River Trestle, is a wooden railway trestle located on Vancouver Island north of Shawnigan Lake. It is a crossing of the Koksilah River. It is the largest wooden trestle in the Commonwealth of Nations and one of the highest railway trestles in the world. It was constructed out of old-growth Douglas fir timbers. It is a marvel to behold in person.

Learn how all the infrastructure around you got here in the first place.
Mount Prevost is a mountain that is northwest of Duncan and has a distinctive skyline with the two rock bluffs. On top of the highest north bluff is a war memorial. It offers beautiful scenic trails and breathtaking views of the surrounding valley.
It also offers fantastic off roading trails if you have a 4x4 and you love overlanding adventures!
