The first feeling when entering the space is that you are no longer on Portuguese soil. It's a real trip to the east without leaving the Iberian peninsula. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff are very attentive and it is a real peace to be here. For those who don't like to walk a lot, you can take the train. But I think it's better to walk and see all the places. Close to Lisbon, it is worth including it in the weekend itinerary. And I would like to highlight the sangria that are for sale in the store, they are a true spectacle of flavor!

The first feeling when entering the space is that you are no longer on Portuguese soil. It's a real trip to the east without leaving the Iberian peninsula. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff are very attentive and it is a real peace to be here. For those who don't like to walk a lot, you can take the train. But I think it's better to walk and see all the places. Close to Lisbon, it is worth including it in the weekend itinerary. Berlengas Islands are a fascinating place, full of history and with the perfect conditions to be the shelter for a huge range of animals and plants. The Islands are located around 10 km (6milles) from the coast of Peniche, where all the ferries to Berlengas Islands depart from.
The island is well preserved as a nature reserve. The fortress is also worth the effort and the boat ride to it is very good.
