Huge zoo and lots to see! We have been to the San Diego Zoo several times over the years and the Ft Worth Zoo holds it's own....but then, everything is better in Texas! The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained and the animal enclosures are sized well for their occupants who appear to be very healthy and loved by staff as well as visitors of all sizes. The grounds are clean and spacious with well paved paths leading to new adventures and delicious food around every bend. To miss the zoo would be to miss a Ft Worth jewel so be sure to place it on your "bucket list" on your visit!

Six Flags is fun for all ages. They've added some new thrill rides and have one of the best roller coasters in TX. Shows, acts, food, drinks, entertainment all in one. Spend the whole day as you will have to wait in line for the rides - sometimes up to an hour or longer. Get there when it opens and go to the back of the park first to get on all the rides before the crowd works it way back there.

Spend the whole day as you will have to wait in line for the rides - sometimes up to an hour or longer. Get there when it opens and go to the back of the park first to get on all the rides before the crowd works it way back there.
Must SEE tour is the Cowboys Stadium. Make a RESERVATION! Fascinating behind the scenes tour of how it was built and all the events they hold in Jerry's World. You can take your picture on the Cowboys STAR on the field and see their locker rooms. Lasts about 2 hours.

It goes around the plant on the outside edge of the second floor so that you are looking down on each part. There is floor to ceiling glass on both sides of the walkway. It is self-guided, so each person has a "phone". It explains what is happening in the area you are looking down on. Then it tells you to turn it off after it tells you where to go next. This place is one of 2 in the whole nation that makes paper money. The procedure is amazing. They told lots of facts about our money & explained every step involved.
