If you are missing Indian food, this is the place to go. Located in the Menehune Shores Resort. Very good food, smaller portions but quite pricey. Ambiance is really nice as long as you get there while there is still a little light - because you are RIGHT on the beach.

The volcanos made this beach with black formations jutting out of the water (perfect for divers) and sand and water that make the tiny rocks look like there was an oil spill.

Keep your receipt from Haleakala as it is also a part of this National Park. Receipt is good for 3 days. Consider spending the night in Hana in order to really explore this part of the Hana Hwy, as it is far away from everything. Check with the National Park to see if any part of the park is closed.
If you feel adventurous after your visit, continue on the Hana Hwy, all the way around the southern part. This is called "The Beyond". Some roads are bumpy, some railings are rusted or missing, some bridges don't have walls/sides/railings...just be careful, but the views are AMAZING! Take your time.
