You have a great view of the river and also downtown Austin when you walk from south to north. It is also the spot to see the congress avenue bridge bats. You need to check the calendar for the best time of the year for the baths to come out. They normally come at around the sunset 7:30 to 9:45 pm.

Zilker park is huge. It has a great view of Austin downtown, has a botanical garden and boat rentals. You can walk or bike in the park, play beach volleyball or lay on the lawn. It is also where ACL music festival happens!

It has many bars next to each other on both side of the street with different type of music and vibes. If you like to party and stay out late, you should definitely visit Rainey street. It is also fun to read about the history of Rainey street and know about Geraldine.
