Fun beach, lots of fun people watching play structure for kids, good grill/picnic table areas, good restaurants, wine tasting, libertine brewery and more Because the beach is somewhat of a cove, the beach is well protected and it’s generally the sunniest and least windy of all the beaches in this area . There’s a dog beach- great for running your dogs free. At the very end of the road there’s a pier with paddle boarding and kayak rentals, and a fun restaurant called Mersea’s where you can watch and hear the seals and sit on the pier to eat Also the Avila Valley Barn and Bon Jones trail are fun attractions
