A great place to grab an ice cream, rent a canoe or kayak by the river, or to just watch the ducks and geese wander around the picnic area. There is a park nearby for children to play, as well as a lovely path to ride your bike along the Eramosa River.

A beautiful spot to eat an amazing lunch close to the river rapids in nearby Elora. The town itself is very picturesque, with gorgeous historical architecture, one-of-a-kind boutiques, ice cream shops, a creperie, art galleries etc. The newly renovated Elora Mill and Spa is breathtakingly gorgeous from the outside, and in! A must see!

This is Guelph's biggest park with some lovely hikes and cycling paths along the river. One path leads you to Guelph Lake with some gorgeous views of the river along the way. In the winter, the city builds and maintains a lovely skating rink for you to skate.

This is an absolute must to take yourself and/or your dog for a hike in the nearby woods. This is just a 15 drive from the Airbnb. Once you are inside the park, you would hardly believe that you are still in town. Dogs can be off-leash at the adjoining Hanlon dog park. This is a huge area of land to bring your dog, or to just go for a fantastic bike ride. You could get lost so don't wander too far!
