Spencer Smith Park is located between Brant St and Maple Ave along the lakefront.
Home to multiple festivals in the warmer months, Spencer Smith Park is the heart of Burlington.
On the Brant St side of the park walk out on the Brant St. Pier
Closer to Maple Ave. is Centennial Pond which features ice skating in the winter months, and is used as a model sailboat pond in the summer. There’s also a water play area and a playground for children.
The boardwalk path along the lake is part of the Waterfront Trail and is a beautiful place to walk, run, ride, rollerblade, and people watch. Walk far enough and you’ll make it to the lift bridge, and once you cross that you’ll be on the Hamilton Beach portion of the trail.
It is home to Spencer's, a restaurant with a large patio area entirely made of glass offering beautiful views of Lake Ontario.
