About a 30 minute drive from our place San Luis Obispo (SLO) has a lot to offer! A college town with lots of restaurants and shopping. Don't miss the famous SLO farmer's market on Thursdays 6:15-9 with several blocks of food, drink and produce vendors along with live music and other seasonal activities!

Cambria is a gorgeous costal town about a 45 minute scenic drive from our place. Stunning views of famous Hwy 1 along with some shopping and restaurants.

Avila Beach is the costal hot spot with a lovely pier and plenty of ocean front shops. Often times Avila Beach will be 10-15 degrees warmer than some of our other more typically cooler beaches.

Creston is the closest little town near our place. There isn't much on the map there but there really isn't a better spot for a burger and a beer at either The Long Branch Saloon or The Loading Chute. Check all All Good Custom Leather Shop or the Creston Rodeo if there are events going on!

Check out The Kitchenette for breakfast, Pig Iron for brunch or dinner and if you really want to commit and do as the locals do head over to Templeton Feed and Grain for classic green trucker hat.
