The Ballpark neighborhood is a great place to live & work, and if you want to travel like a local, then THIS is the best place to stay. There are so many restaurants & bars that are walking distance! I absolutely love living in this neighborhood as I have for the last ten years. It has so much to offer and it’s absolutely Salt Lake City’s hidden gem.
Google recently renamed our neighborhood from People's Freeway (an outdated named that nobody used) to the Ballpark neighborhood, however, Airbnb has not updated this name! We are known as the Ballpark neighborhood because this is where our ONE & ONLY Baseball team plays! 🐝Go Bees 🐝!!!

This place is my absolute favorite restaurant - their octopus is to DIE FOR! If you don't like seafood, they also have other options that are amazing. It's a great place to share or to try a lot of different items.

IF you want some great divey chinese take out joint, this is definitely your place. I recommend getting take out or ordering Uber Eats. They are also open late.

This place has amazing Thai take out! I love their pad-see-ew with beef & pineapple fried rice! Also if you like spicy, they can make it very spicy for you!

This place is amazing for local Mexican. I love love love their parrillada! It’s a sharing dish and it comes with rice, beans, beef, chicken, shrimp & quesadillas. Ugh it’s so delicious my mouth is drooling as I write this. This place is NOT walkable but it’s well worth the 7 mins drive or $10 Uber/Lyft fare. I promise!

Amazing Indian food! This place is a longer walk from my home but it’s only about 2 mins away if you’re driving by car. I love their tikka masala and their tandoori chicken. So good!! If you like spicy, you can request it extra spicy!

Things To Do!
We love love love the Bee's! Last season we went to about 5-10 games. It is walking distance from the home and such a fun environment. The ballpark stadium is the perfect size because it's not overly huge like the Major League stadiums. It's definitely an experience! It has one of the best views of Salt Lake & the mountains there!

Must see! There are two different hikes, one that comprises of just a stairway and another that is a bit more strenuous but the views are unbeatable. This is a short drive about 10-15 minutes from the home.

Beautiful park that is well maintained during the spring and summer. This park is never crowded and plenty parking. It makes for a great sunset walk and provides a lot of shade.

A new nature reserve that was recently built to convey the underwater system that runs through Salt Lake City. It is also close to International Peace Gardens so if you plan on coming here, I would definitely make a stop at the Garden as well!
