Shopping
You will find the biggest choice with all the big names on Hohe Straße (near Cathedral), Schildergasse and Neumarkt. A bit more hip and trendy is Ehrenstraße. However, if you are looking for small labels and arty trendshops, then stay in Ehrenfeld. Try Körnerstraße (!) and Rothehausstraße.
Every Friday until 13.00 there is a big open market on Neptunplatz! Don´t miss it! Best butcher (Landmetzgerei Schmitz, first stall), fruit and vegetables, cheeses, breads, plastic stuff and clothes, potatoes/onions, spices, fish... and cool food trucks that stay longer!
There is also a very good Turkish butcher on Körnerstraße (Tosun) - I recommend it! - but only open on Fridays and Saturdays.
A massive supermarket right on your doorstep. Open until 10pm. Woolworths and Kik also in the same complex.
