6350 East County Highway 30ANewly renovated Public Beach Access. Large parking lot, new bathrooms, beautiful sandy dunes. The boardwalk from the parking lot to the beach is pretty long so make sure to bring a cart to help haul beach equipment.
Great public beach! Plenty of room to setup, nearby golf cart and car roadside parking available on North side of 30A. Just a short walk to the boardwalk access from the parking area.

Walton Dunes Beach Access is a 10 min. golf cart ride West on 30A from Prominence. If you don't feel like paying the $3 entry fee at Deer Lake then this is my favorite beach. This access is tucked in a residential area off of 30A but has a public parking lot about 100 yards from the access entry. Walton Dunes is an easier entry as it has no boardwalk or steps, and you can walk from the road directly onto the beach. This is a good option for dropping off passengers and gear (but don't leave your vehicle unattended due to ticket happy parking officers) then park in the nearby lot. The parking lot is limited, so getting here early is suggested. There are plenty of bicycle racks at the access should you decide to ride bikes. (Note: You may see vehicles parked on the shoulder directly left of the access at Walton Dunes. There are "No Parking" signs along the shoulder, which is a towable offense. Please do not park on the shoulder to the left of the beach access, even if you see others doing it.)
