There are several Miguel's Cocina, but our favorite is on Coronado. They offer free chips, salsa, and queso. Excellent beer battered fish tacos.

Little Italy is renowned for it's foodie scene. There are a variety of options, but this is one of our favorites. Go early and enjoy the evening walking around the rest of Little Italy.

This is the restaurant from the original Top Gun. Oh and they also have great food... located in the historic Gas Lamp district this is a great spot for lunch prior to exploring downtown San Diego.

Probably not something you would find in most guidebooks, a small out of the way public Garden. A nice way to pass a few hours, especially if you are on a budget.

So much to do, so much to see here! Great for walking, eating, drinking... you name it. Try the food court, it is amazing!
