Located 10 minutes from our Sweet Little Suite, this scenic provincial park is located on the Trent River with over 10km of walking and biking trails, a suspension bridge, and more than 150 campsites. There are also Kayaks for rent, bird sanctuaries and some of the most beautiful of the trent and the lift locks.

The 27-foot Toonie monument is located in the heart of downtown Campbellford in Old Mill Park and commemorates the local artist of the most famous bear in Canada stamped on the back of the Toonie in 2017

30 feet above the Ranney Gorge and 300 feet long the views from this bridge are breathtaking. The bridge is located in Ferris Provincial Park near located right beside lift locks 11 & 12 at the south end of Campbellford, the Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge is also on the Trans Canada Trail.

Shopping
Only a few of the larger retail and food chains are available in Campbellford. We have a Canadian Tire, Rona, Giant Tiger, No Frills, Sharpes, Dollarama, LCBO, Beer Store, one Tim Hortons, and our first Mcdonald's opened in November 2021. Larger stores like Wal-Mart etc will be a 30-40 minute drive into Peterborough or Bellville.

Local Travel
Look out for all terrain off roads vehicles. Located near the Trans Canada Trails makes this little town perfect for going off road between April & November.
