These hot springs, fed by a natural spring are the perfect way to relax after all the adventure you will have in Steamboat. They do require reservations. If you cannot get a reservation, I recommend spending the extra money on the shuttle service. They will pick you up and drop you off at the condo. Admission to the Hot Springs is included in your shuttle price. So no need for a reservation. Even when the hot springs say "sold out" the shuttle usually still has some openings. A Steamboat tradition, watch as the beautiful hot air balloons fill the sky and get to see their beauty up close. Paired with Art in the Park, this is an event that should not be missed. Art in the Park is free to the public and features nearly 150 artist vendors, live entertainment, food vendors, and an interactive children’s art area. Dates TBD. Usually in July. 2024 will bring the 43rd annual running of the Steamboat Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10k. Run alongside the roaring Elk River through the emerald green pastures on Country Road 129 with the snow-capped Rocky Mountains of Colorado all around and find out why the Steamboat Marathon, a certified Boston Qualifier race, was ranked as one of the “Top 10 Destination Marathons in North America.”

For more than 100 years Steamboat Springs, Colorado has celebrated Independence Day in true western fashion. This is a special holiday and Steamboat does it right with a hometown parade followed by an old-fashioned community block party. Exact calendar of events TBD. I will keep you updated. Usually a four-day event.

Two-day beer fest! Start the weekend off by visiting some of downtown Steamboat's bars/restaurants, sampling beer only to prepare for the main event the next day. The following day you will be surrounded by beer vendors, good food, and great people. This truly makes for a fun weekend! Dates TBD. Usually around the 3rd weekend in September.
