A submarine museum, naval /marine museum , pier, Scoops Ice Cream shop, and historic lighthouse as well as fishing charters and amazing beaches are all a feature of this small village.
Backus Mills is a great pioneer village! 30 minutes drive.

6209 Plank Road, Vienna (Bayham) is a very neat space to visit to learn of Thomas Edison’s time spent in the village. Tours are by donation and after the tour you can also stop at the Homestead Plaque a bit further south on Plank Road.

The local Mennonite owned Eden General store is closed on Sundays but open 6 days a week. Great spot for snacks and a restaurant with amazing Mexican food (huge breakfast burritos!)

Family Favourites
Clovermead adventure park is a 20 minute drive and an absolute must see for the young family, with splash pad and dozens of kid-approved activities as well as lots of shade, picnic areas, and. Honey bee tours and gift shop. There’s are numerous other spots I recommend but Clovermead is my top pick!
