Rated one of the best zoos in the world with an extremely reasonable admission price. This is one of our family's favorite spots year round. You can go for an hour or a whole day, and you're sure to love every minute.

The Aksarben area is full of shops, restaurants, a move theater, a park, and a trail. Close by is Elmwood Park (adjacent to the University of Nebraska-Omaha property), which is our kids' favorite park in the city. The playground is great for all ages, and during non-winter months there are *lots* of toys to play with in the sand. There's also a ton of green space and a trail going through the park.

The Aksarben area is full of shops, restaurants, a move theater, a park, and a trail. Close by is Elmwood Park (adjacent to the University of Nebraska-Omaha property), which is our kids' favorite park in the city. The playground is great for all ages, and during non-winter months there are *lots* of toys to play with in the sand. There's also a ton of green space and a trail going through the park.

If you feel like going for a walk, why not visit another state in the process? Midway over the bridge you'll cross the Nebraska-Iowa line, and there are trails on both sides.
