There is not better place to be then Frederick's on a Sunday afternoon, listening to live music by fantastic local artists and eating a bucket of their famous hoops (chicken wings). It's a great place for big groups but we highly recommend calling ahead for reservations to sit outside. The inside seating is a bit disappointing, especially during summer. They often host karaoke and have a wonderful bar and very active night scene.

Need to do your weekly shopping? Head to Tops! It has a large parking lot in case you need more than an arms-worth of groceries for the 5-minute walk. There's typically a small farmers market in the parking lot for local produce and home-made pies and treats.

Walk across the street for a great little public beach, park and pier. The swimming area is small but great for young families. Fish off the pier or have a picnic in the park with BYO-coal grills. There are also public basketball and tennis courts as well as bathrooms so there's no need to walk back and forth to the townhouse.
