This list would be incomplete without my #1 food selection in the area. This place serves all authentic dishes with fresh spices and seasonings- which are absolutely essential for authentic flavors. The menu is mostly hunan, so a great variety of spicy, umami, and tasty veggie dishes. And if you're feeling VERY adventurous, stinky tofu... but it's strong.

MOST REWARDING HIKING TRAIL: You're going to want to bring a couple snacks and drinks on this one... It's a decently long trail, but once you get to the top, you can see EVERYTHING. There's even a totem with holes drilled in it and little tubes you can look through to see what's marked on each tube. Great photo ops at the top and bragging rights to say you completed it!

As you go the length of the pier, you're surrounded on both sides by vivid reds, greens, and yellows... all one type of vegetation called pickleweed.

BEST STATION TO TAKE THE TRAIN TO SAN FRANCISCO: Caltrain is our local transit from San Jose to San Francisco. You can UBER or Lyft to the Diridon station and take the train from there.
