On the small plaza, where the Kafka Museum and the restaurant are situated is a fountain titled "Piss". Day trips from Prague
1. Konopiště Castle

About 50 km south-east of Prague lies Chateau Konopiště that Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria turned into his personal hunting lodge in 1887.
The fastest and the easiest way to get there from Prague is by car

Choosing the train or bus connection to Konopiště means a bit of a walk afterwards but much cheaper than going by car (you reach Benešov and from there you have to walk to Konopiště, a 3 kilometres long way).
2. Czech Switzerland National Park
National park known for its sandstone rock formations, wild valleys & frozen waterfalls.
Definitely go for the hiking at Pravčická gate, it is not difficult and you can walk all the way up there. If you want to go on your own, you get to the Pravčická gate from Hřensko village.

The village is beautiful and the castle is amazing, although the interior of the castle is quite modest, it is worth to go.

Instead of going with an arranged tour, take the train, 2 tickets for only 200czk plus 300czk for a guided tour through the castle. The village is beautiful and the castle is amazing, although the interior of the castle is quite modest, it is worth to go.
