This is a SUPER cool place to get local fresh foods if you are looking to cook. The market is surrounded by a bunch of artist studios and craftsmen that create some amazing products. Best way to get here is to take the Skytrain to Science World / Main Street and then walk the sea wall to Granville Market. This is the first stop from the skytrain near our place.

Looking to shop? Robson street in downtown Vancouver is the location for your shopping needs. One street north of Robson is Alberni street which I can't afford but if you spill something on your Hermes Birkin, you can quickly pickup another....

Sightseeing
This is a bit further but its a location we just love. Deep cove is about a 20-25min drive. There is a great medium difficult 45min each way hiking trail to Quarry rock that overlooks the cove. Amazing views. Once you finish your hike (or skip the hike part) the little town has some amazing restaurants and probably the best donuts you have ever eaten. "Honey's donuts" its the one that most likely has a line up... get the original you wont regret it. Deep cove also has kayak, paddle board and more rentals.

Skytrain - Transit station at Commercial street and Broadway
Commercial and Broadway skytrain station is one of the central hubs and we are just a short 5min walk from it. The main line is the Expo line which will take you to waterfront station (downtown Vancouver) in just 15mins. The Expo line has 4 stops before the last stop (waterfront station). Main street / Science world is the first stop. Stadium is second stop. Granville is third stop. Burrard is the fourth stop and then its Waterfront station the last stop.

The Saturday's farmer's market is a must
Every Saturday from March-October, there is a farmers market right at trout lake (2min walk). There is a guy that sells eggs, get the eggs, I don't like eggs but these eggs are just so delicious. Everything else is local and fresh so I usually get some eggs and anything else that looks good.
