A 30 minute drive from Lynn Hall. The Kinzua Bridge State Park - A sky bridge and museum. Not so great if you don't like heights but either way the museum is interactive and fun.
The Kinzua Bridge Visitors Center is located at the edge of the Kinzua Gorge. Arriving at the entrance visitors are greeted by huge steel towers flanking the doorway. The new 11,000 sq. ft. building features two exhibit halls with displays showcasing the three E’s – Engineering, Energy and the Environment. Also a great place to shop, the flagship PA Wilds Cooperative Artisan Shop features handcrafted and handmade items from the region.

The Missisippi Glass Company that produced a variety of plate glass. Most notably “wire glass” or security glass. Then in 1937 the Pittsburgh Corning Glass Company began producing the famous glass block. While in town check out the Serenity Glass Park's contemporary glass block installations.

Born in Port Allegheny Ray designed and built the port Allegheny high school, medical center, moose lodge and an entire neighborhood called Baker's acres in Port Allegany. Smethport’s Mansion District was in full construction by the 1880's. Located along both sides of West Main Street, the architecture of these Victorian mansions is a reflection of the wealth that built Smethport back in the 1870s. Walking tour brochures are available at the Smethport Visitors Center on Main Street.

Vast lumber assets, oil reserves, and the railroads beginning in the 1870s caused McKean County’s economy to boom, and money flowed into Smethport, the governmental seat and financial center of the county. Smethport’s Mansion District was in full construction by the 1880's. Located along both sides of West Main Street, the architecture of these Victorian mansions is a reflection of the wealth that built Smethport back in the 1870s. Walking tour brochures are available at the Smethport Visitors Center on Main Street.

But once a year the town can double in size as it pays homage to one of its native born sons, Elliot Ness. The Elliot Ness Festival is a three day event that takes place in July.
