Places worth seeing

The Henry Ford Museum is a must-see while you're in this part of Michigan. The museum is huge and could easily take several days to explore. It is divided into three parts: - The museum, which covers the history of 20th century technology, not just cars (though there is plenty of that too) - Greenfield Village - an incredible multi-acre early 1900s historic village where you can stroll through acres of perfectly re-created neighborhoods, enter general stores and apothecary shops, eat at a historic tavern, and ride in a real Model-T. The original Wright Brothers bicycle shop is here too! - A tour of the Ford factory where you can see actual trucks being assembled in real time. Located an hour away, just past Detroit. Well worth the drive.
