This is beautiful place to visit and is easily reached on foot from the appartment. The castle is open on certain days and has amazing views. The Island is connected by boat at high tide and a causeway at low tide. To walk start from by the Bus station and just follow the paved path along the beaches. It's about 30/40 minutes and easy to bus back if need be.

Busy and Touristy? yes. But also very pretty, nice beaches, cafes, restaurants and galleries. Surfing too. Very close by train from Penzance and the train ride is beautiful along clifftops over sweeping beaches

A big working harbour walking distance from this stay. Piers, boats, rope, rusty things.Some nice restaurants and a very good independent cinema too. The walk along the seafront to Newlyn is lovely and takes about 20/25 minutes

Its little and scenic (and walkable from the appartment if you like a decent walk). If you're after cottages and an old style fishing harbour it's nice to wander about. Also famous for its Christmas lights that fill the harbour and draw crowds...lovely and worth a visit

21 Commercial RoadIts little and scenic (and walkable from the appartment if you like a decent walk). If you're after cottages and an old style fishing harbour it's nice to wander about. Also famous for its Christmas lights that fill the harbour and draw crowds...lovely and worth a visit

Believe it or not you can get a bus here from Penzance! Very beautiful in a rugged, windswept way. Nice cliff walks but also we highly recommend climbing Zennor Tor

A change of scene easily reached by train..Lots of waterfront, ferry boats to St Mawes, riverboats up the Fal river and beaches too. It's become a town with a big student population so independent cafes, bars, restaurants, boutiques and takeaways can be found in great numbers
