Why not head to Spencer via Yarramalong (same M1 exit as Tuggerah Westfield except inland rather that turning east). Regan can provide you with a gourmet hamper as pictured (small $60 large $100). If you’re staying at Monique’s, you’ll often find his amazing REAL old school bacon in the freezer for breakfast.
Worth the Drive to Yarramalong, Regan and his wife Vicki have carved a niche butchery / cafe / foodie heaven. Vicki makes the best gluten free salted caramel cheesecake I've ever had. My personal favourites are Regan's bacon and maple sausages, his in house cured bacon, the coffee and hot chocolate. Fantastic array of sauces, chutneys and other delicacies.

Sightseeing
Local artist Peter Rush has created a new masterpiece titled “Serenity” located at Spencer Public Wharf. Made from Gymea Lilly's, Serenity will eventually be taken by the elements. The Spencer sculpture joins the long list of creations by Pete which have popped up around the Coast.
Pete recently created a 3.5 metre “Laughing Owl” at Kulnura, with Pete saying on his Instagram at the time that it was a “good excuse for a nice drive in the country and a burger at Jerry’s at Kulnura.”

Phone reception isn't great
Be sure you have downloaded your directions and check in instructions before heading to your Spencer and surrounds accomodation or places of interest. Phone reception is only reliable in the hub on the village. If you need to be contacted, insure your accomodation has WiFi

Spencer is a tiny. Don't expect the convenience of the city.
If you have particular dietary or medical needs, be prepared. The nearest Supermarket is over an hour away (Glenorie or Tuggerah or West Gosford). The nearest fuel is either Wisemans Ferry, Peats Ridge or Kulnura. The local shop and restaurant close early so order early. The closest "Westfields" is Tuggerah about 55 mins away. The closest Pharmacy is Wisemans or Mangrove Mountain. The local Police station is Brisbane Waters in Gosford. Wisemans Ferry Police is closer, but not their jurisdiction. The closest hospital and ambulance is Gosford. Helicopters and boats are often used in emergencies.
