A really nice walk from Darvel along the former railway. The first mile can be quite overgrown in summer.
People do rope-climbing at the crag.

£10 entry with 20% discount for arriving on a bike. I found the bike useful for getting around the exhibits!

Really nice old guy who worked for the General Post Office, then British Telecom, for 40 years, and has loads of old telephone and switchboard kit that you can get hands-on with. You need to call before you go, because he might be shopping.
