Okay, so if you're staying so close to Sand Hollow State Park, you've got to at least go check it out. The views are amazing and so is the swimming, boating, water skiing, and more!

This is a nice, fairly short and easy hike out to some dinosaur footprints. Fun little outing to take kids to do where there aren't a lot of people.

If you're a climber, you've probably already heard of Moe's Valley. If not, just know it's worth spending at least half a day out there on the boulders. Don't forget crash pads, as nothing is bolted. This is becoming a more crowded spot, as it gains popularity, but you can still usually find some good problems that don't have a bunch of people on them already. I highly recommend picking up a Moe's Valley guide book from The Desert Rat for climbs, ratings, and some beta.

If you're a climber, you've probably already heard of Moe's Valley. If not, just know it's worth spending at least half a day out there on the boulders. Don't forget crash pads, as nothing is bolted. This is becoming a more crowded spot, as it gains popularity, but you can still usually find some good problems that don't have a bunch of people on them already. Sightseeing
Who would want to skip one of the most iconic national parks in Utah on their trip through the state? Even if you don't want to get out and deal with all the crowds on the trails, I highly recommend just driving through the park. You won't get views like this anywhere else!

Another incredibly beautiful place in Utah, and if you have time to even just drive through, I'd recommend it! It's definitely experienced better getting out and hiking the red rock, though. Did you know Katy Perry filmed a music video here and in Sand Hollow State Park some few years ago? Snow Canyon State Park isn't quite as busy as Zion National Park, but still has some superb trails to experience, but with less people.

It's definitely experienced better getting out and hiking the red rock, though. Did you know Katy Perry filmed a music video here and in Sand Hollow State Park some few years ago? Snow Canyon State Park isn't quite as busy as Zion National Park, but still has some superb trails to experience, but with less people.

A working farm, but a bit off the beaten path, this is a sweet, little, cozy neighborhood. In the summer you're likely to see rows and rows of sunflowers. There's a pecan farm in the area as well.
