Hiking here can give you a great view of Sandviken and Bergen. A very nice place for lunch. A hike up Permisjonsstien is steep, but not too long and is a great short hike with a good view. About 10 minute walk from the apartment to the start of the trail from Fjellveien.

If it’s a warm day the park is perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. Buy a one time bbq and enjoy the sun! Also a playground for kids!

The bus number 10
Take bus number 10 to get closest to the apartment. Get off at Nye Sandviksvei! This bus also takes you downtown

Hikingboots
If you are hiking, wear proper boots! And use them before your travels. New boots will give you blisters!

Always say Hi when hiking
When you are hiking, always say Hi to people you pass. Maybe not when it’s Fløyen on a busy day. But when Hiking in the mountain and you pass someone, always say hi and have eyecontact! This is custom cultur, but also a way of making sure we see each other and are safe while hiking.

Train station to the apartment
As you leave the entry from the Train station you walk to the left to the Tram we call Bybanen. This you buy a ticket for in the app “skyss”, and the ticket will last for every bus or tram you take for 1,5 hrs. You take the tram towards the right, into the city. From Nonneseter to Byparken, one stop. And from there you walk towards Festplassen.The green park you see usually just as you step off the tram, then you turn to your left and cross the road and go to the first bus stop you see. Here the bus Number 10 to Mulen is the one! Get off at Nye Sandviksvei
