In tempo di guerra la Valle di Gresta costituì il punto d’unione tra il settore di Riva e quello della Val Lagarina e venne interessata da più linee di trinceramenti. Camminata in mezzo a campi coltivati e terrazzamenti, apprezzando l'opera secolare dell'uomo che si è insediato in questi luoghi e scoprendo il carattere autentico e genuino della Valle di Gresta.

Camminata in mezzo a campi coltivati e terrazzamenti, apprezzando l'opera secolare dell'uomo che si è insediato in questi luoghi e scoprendo il carattere autentico e genuino della Valle di Gresta.

Percorso pianeggiante tra gli ampi campi coltivati della Val di Gresta. L’escursione prosegue nel bosco dove, ai lati della strada, incontrerai i numerosi allestimenti di ''arte ambientale'' realizzati dagli alunni delle scuole elementari della valle.
L’itinerario incontra i primi resti di quello che fu un importante caposaldo ed osservatorio di artiglieria austroungarico. Qui, percorrendo la trincea, arrivi verso la cima del Monte Creino, spettacolare terrazzo sul Lago di Garda.

The itinerary encounters the first remains of what was once an important Austro-Hungarian artillery stronghold and observatory. Here, following the trench, you reach the top of Monte Creino, a spectacular terrace overlooking Lake Garda.
