Catterick has both flat and jump racing. The course is at the far end of the Village and quaintly temporary traffic lights are set up to walk the horses across the road!
Within driving distance for racing fans are Thirsk, Ripon , Wetherby, York, Redcar Courses.

Ever been to an antiques auction ? tennants is one of the biggest salerooms outside London and its excellent website shows its catalogues. The saleroom has excellent carparking, superb catering, and the auctions are hugely entertaining.

Harmby RoadEver been to an antiques auction ? tennants is one of the biggest salerooms outside London and its excellent website shows its catalogues. The saleroom has excellent carparking, superb catering, and the auctions are hugely entertaining.
Everything from an old master to modern popart.
