Lovely old fashioned pub and delicious homecooked food. (walkable in about 15 minutes or 1 minutes drive) they do like you to call and book in advance if your planning on eating there.

A lovely local gastro pub with a nice atmosphere and a good selection of food on offer. only a couple of miles from us. (4 minute drive)

We are lucky enough to have this great chinese on our doorstep! its one of the better ones in the area and only a 3 minute drive! or 30 minute walk

One of our favorite places to dine in Wymondham, I always struggle to choose what to eat as the options are all so great! Also a great place to go for drinks, it usually has several other people in the bar and a good atmosphere.

If your into your fine dining this place is definitely worth a visit! Set in a converted old mill, it gives it a unique look and impressive entrance.

lovely friendly farm shop with a butchers, selling local produce. Its enroute to Norwich so worth popping your head in if your heading in that direction. They also sell some lovely cakes!

The Abbey overlooks the green fields of the Tiffey valley where the river Tiffey runs through the town. in the centre of Wymondham lies the market cross which was originally built in 1617. Norwich is steeped in history with parts of the old castle walls to discover round every corner along cobbled streets, it is well worth visiting the castle too! Despite the remains of history its also a modern city with lots of high street shops and eateries to explore. (15 minute drive)
Its equal distance to Long Stratton or to Wymondham, Long Stratton has a large co op so suitable if you want to do a grocery shop. Also worth noting that there is a pharmacy here too.

There are loads of lovely walks and cycle rides that you can do around the hut. There are some beautiful peaceful little lanes nearby where the verges are lined with wild flowers. We are also one area that has a few hills! if you head along Hurn Lane (just off the Norwich Road, there is a fantastic view form the top of the hill!
Ashwellthorpe and Fundenhall
There are loads of lovely walks and cycle rides that you can do around the hut. There are some beautiful peaceful little lanes nearby where the verges are lined with wild flowers. We are also one area that has a few hills! if you head along Hurn Lane (just off the Norwich Road, there is a fantastic view form the top of the hill!
Banham Zoo is an award winning family attraction and one of the most exciting wildlife attractions in the country, with over 2,000 animals from around the world and set in 50 acres of beautiful parkland and gardens. (20 minutes drive)

There's a footpath that runs through the horse sanctuary and then back through Floordon common, part of the path is through a woods with a river running through it. its a pretty walk. It takes just over an hour and is about 3.5 miles
