Verbier is one of the premiere ski resorts in Europe. Located only 1 hour from chalet Maridadi either on skis or driving you’ll not regret a visit there. Ski over in the winter and enjoy the ski terrain and restaurant scene. Alternatively, head over for one of the many fabulous hikes in the summer. Lovely small town to explore and plenty of cafés.

Only 15-20 minutes from the chalet sits the beautiful capital of the Valais. A medieval city, full of cafés, restaurants and on Friday the wonderful Friday market.

Hiking
What a hike - stunning area 35 minutes from the chalet. Go early and beat the summer heat, grab a parking spot and hike up to Lac Bleu. You won’t be disappointed. Simply breathtaking scenery.

Skiing
Wide open slopes, high altitude resort and perfect for both families looking for a family ski holiday with lessons or the Adrenalin junkie looking for some challenging slopes. Only a 5 minute drive and you are at one of the many access points to the slopes. Whilst not ski out we have the option to access the slopes in 4/5 locations - Trabanta, 1850, 1900 or Thyon 2000, or Piste de L’Ours. Thyon is one element of the famous 4 Vallées ski area. A vast ski area spanning 400km of groomed slopes. The largest ski domain in Switzerland.
