Duck Creek Village is one of the best kept secrets of Southern Utah. Elevated at 8,500 ft you'll love being amongst the pine/aspen trees, snow, and beautiful rock formations. The village itself is quaint with a few restaurants and convenience store. You'll find the preferred mode of transportation for many is an ATV or side-by-side. There's so many fun things to do outside from hiking, biking, fishing, to riding!

Sightseeing
Zion (not Zion's) National Park may be the reason you came to our cabin in the first place. If it's not, you should try to find some time to visit. Zion is one of the most visited national parks in the country. People come from around the world to visit and its less than an hour drive from the cabin! If you're feeling daring we recommend hiking Angel's Landing. Its not for the faint of heart as you'll be using the assistance of chains to get to the top, but when you do its all worth it! Feel free to reach out about other recommendations within Zion.

Beautiful year-round, we especially love visiting Bryce in the winter time with the snow. Our favorite hike within the park is the Navajo Loop Trail. Just 25 minutes from the cabin Cedar Breaks National Monument is another must visit! We highly recommend the Alpine Pond Trail there which is a smaller 2 miles hike. If the views don't take your breath away the 10,400 ft elevation will!

4730 UT-148Just 25 minutes from the cabin Cedar Breaks National Monument is another must visit! We highly recommend the Alpine Pond Trail there which is a smaller 2 miles hike. If the views don't take your breath away the 10,400 ft elevation will!
Everyone who comes to the cabin should check out Strawberry Point! Its a 15 minute drive just up the dirt road from the cabin and it has one of the most amazing views in Southern Utah! Not many people know about it so its usually not busy. High recommend going for sunset. Truly spectacular!

Everyone who comes to the cabin should check out Strawberry Point! Its a 15 minute drive just up the dirt road from the cabin and it has one of the most amazing views in Southern Utah! Not many people know about it so its usually not busy. High recommend going for sunset. Truly spectacular!
Navajo Lake is a bigger lake that's about 20 minutes from the cabin. It has amazing views and is a great place to take a kayak out or go fishing!

Panguitch Lake is another larger lake about 35 minutes from the cabin. Its a really beautiful drive there going through the trees and past the lava flows. The lake itself has a little beach front and you'll find plenty of people fishing and boating there! In the warmer months you can rent jet skis and boats.

Aunt Sue's is one of the few restaurants you can find in the village. We like it because they have a large menu and its the go-to spot if you're looking for a good breakfast in the village. Great milkshakes as well!

Grocery Store
The True Value store the local grocery/convenience store in the village. Keep in mind they don't have a huge selection and don't carry any fresh produce or meats. You'll want to make a stop at a grocery store in Cedar City for that.
