If you want a good selection of groceries, but cheaper than Whole Foods head over to H.E.B. There is a couple of reasons I love this grocery store. They started over 100 years ago in Kerville, TX so it's local. I love local if you can't tell. They donate and help out during so many things (i.e. hurricanes, floods, etc...). And I have had friends that work for them and they are excellent employers with great benefits. AND the reason it's called H.E.B. is it is the abbreviations of the owners name Howard Edward Butt (and no matter how old I get I will always laugh at butt jokes).
