Burley is a small traditional New Forest village situated west of brockenhurst, a 12 minute drive/ 30 minute cycle away from Lilypad. The Village is known for its wealth of tea rooms, gift shops, art galleries and pubs. When in Burley don’t be surprised to see ponies, donkeys and cattle roaming freely around the village. Just outside the village miles of open heathland provide good walking, cycling and riding trails.

Cycle and mobility scooter hire available, model steam railway, golf and pitch & put, restaurant, staffed information point & visitor centre, disabled and baby change facilities within toilet blocks.
Go-Ape and Segway hire, ice-cream sales and gift shop.
Various activities throughout the year including, pond dipping, Ranger Den, Nordic Walking. Suggested time is more than 3 hours.

Crabbing is very popular from the quayside. You can buy nets, buckets and bait from the shop at the end of the quay. Sea food festivals, fun days, arts festivals and the annual lifeboat week is all held at the quay throughout the year.
