There is also the iconic Dreamland with its vintage funfair and events calendar, which is definitely worth a look If you enjoy live music. The Turner Gallery situated on the seafront is free to enter and has its own café with a view over the Sands

Sandwich is a quaint little town about 20 minutes drive away. There is a lovely walk along the river bank into a nature park and the narrow streets and little shops are interesting to explore. You can catch a boat ride here which takes you out to see the seals!
