Are you a fan of delicious island flavor? If so, Hapa's is the place to go! Just 7 minutes up the hill in Lindon, this sit-down Hawaiian joint has the best teriyaki beef I have ever had, hands down. Pricing is definitely more than your average fast food, but rightfully so as it is fresh and amazing! Aloha!

Pleasant Grove Utah is a fun mix of rodeo country and upscale new businesses. The neighborhoods range from century old houses (such as ours) to multi-million dollar parade of homes displays. We also take strawberries very seriously!

Sightseeing
This paved, trans-city trail can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes if you walk straight up center street! You can expect excellent views of Utah Valley, access to mountain bike trails, and a back road to the Provo Canyon Trail if you go far enough South!

Built into the newly rebuilt Central Elementary school, this planetarium offers realistic space flight simulations that can last up to 4 hours! If that's too much for you, there at shorter simulations as well as regular planetarium shows! Check it out!

This short hike is a little steep but features a beautiful and frigid waterfall at the end! Perfect way to get some exercise and stay refreshed in the summer!
An alternative route takes you across and up the front of the mountain to the iconic G. Think hiking the Y in Provo but less maintained and quite a bit steeper (literally feels like mountain goats designed the trail).
This trailhead connects you to a couple of routes that can take you along side the base of the mountain or straight up along the creek and over to some lookout points! A little steep at times, but beautiful views! Check out the giant flag that is hung across the canyon in July!

I love Anderson Park! This quiet nature reserve is located right up center street about 5 blocks on the right. The entry can be easy to miss because it is just a random sidewalk between two houses but it opens into a lovely forested area with walking paths, fire pits, a grass field, pavilion and amphitheater. Perfect place for a quiet walk or a picnic! A careful eye can spot squirrels, scrub jays, robins, a nesting falcon and the occasional friendly garter snake!

Lots of Parks Nearby!
If you need some entertainment for your little ones, there are several parks within walking distance. One is on Pleasant Grove Main Street (by the fire/police department) and another smaller and less crowded one is off Locust next door to the PG rec center and high school. The best one is actually the Lindon City Park and is a bit farther at the intersection of Locust and state street. It has a zipline and gliders as well as a cool climbing structure.

Groceries
The Pleasant Den does have a full kitchen, so if cooking and eating in is more your style, there are 3 grocery stores within a mile of the house all off State Street. Smith's has the best butcher block, Macy's has great produce, and WalMart obviously has everything you could need but terrible produce selection.
교통편
Busses, Frontrunner, and Sidewalks Oh My!
The bus system is pretty good and stops along Center and Main street a few times. If you're traveling across the valley or up to Salt Lake, the Frontrunner train usually has bus connectors every hour or so. Here is the UTA trip planning link: https://www.rideuta.com/Rider-Tools/Trip-Planner
Around Pleasant Grove, the sidewalks are pretty terrible so keep an eye out for trip hazards and dead ends, especially if you're pushing a stroller!

Going to Church?
Utah was settled in 1847 by Mormon Pioneers and still has a large population of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The nearest church building is a block south and visitors are always welcome!
There is also the lovely First Baptist Church just a block west of us that would love to welcome visitors to the fold!
